Which would be the best eBay category to sell books about historic sailing-ships and modern yachts?

What I did was search all of ebay for historical ships. Then on the side column there was a link for Antiquarian and collectable under the books catagory.
I would suggest finding books like yours using google search and then searching on ebay.
Collectable for the historic books
Books for the other.

I would have said "Books, comics, magazines"

do a serach for a book lik eone you have wil fin dwhere they are listed and that would be a good place to start

You would probably want to list them in the books category as well as the general sailing category.

When you create your listing, you can enter 'keywords' for your items – such as 'modern yachts' – and suitable categories will be suggested, from which you can make your selections (don't forget that using more than one category per item will add to your listing fees).
