Whale watching season runs from January through April.
Newport Landing runs whale watching excursions seven days a week from late December through April. This coincides with the California Gray Whales annual migration along the Orange County coastline. Trips are offered twice daily Monday thru Friday and three trips are offered on Saturday and Sunday.

Whale watching is just about over but it looks like they are still sighting few whales. It would be more fun to take a day trip to Catalina Island.
