I want to go into Naval Architecture. But I want to go into cruise ship design (if I can’t then yacht design). But this seems a difficult industry to break into. I want to look at the criteria involved, so I can plan ahead to college soon.

If you have any recommended naval architecture colleges I would be appreciative too. But basically I’m looking for the requirements, criteria, etc… Any company will do fine, but if I could pick it’d be Cunard (Carnival) or Royal Carribean, of course those are probably a long way off.

All I am looking for is a yacht type boat on Lake Michigan in Chicago for a small ceremony ( less than 20 ppl) to basically say our vows, and be married by the captain. Maybe a a champagne toast which I will provide. All the places I have looked into require a 3 hr minimum and cost like ,000. I am looking to spend between 0 -0 for the hr. I am asking this because I plan to attend a wedding in San Francisco abroad the Commodore Enents Yacht "Celebrations" and we board at Pier 40. I understand the Giants’ Statium is near Pier 40, and I understand there is a Giants/Dodgers game Aug 19th–same day of wedding. We have been advised not to drive to Pier 40 because of the game. Any idea what a taxi fare would be from the airport?
