I think a few feet would do the trick.

unmeasurably "drop" …. such a tiny amount of mass spread across the entire ocean …
it would drop just enough to equal the mass of all the boats taken out … Archimedes principle

Not much probably, considering that about 90% of the earth's surface is mostly water.

do you mean taken out ? and where to ?
that aside how would you measure it the sea has waves making it difficult to measure it's level exactly so you just wouldn't notice it (unless you were on one of the vessels you propose to remove)

Can you imagine how much sea level would rise, if there weren`t
any sponges in the sea?

The volume of the ocean is so great that, it wouldn't be nothing, but it would be such a small amount that it would make no difference. I have noticed people have said feet.. inches makes a huge difference a good example of this is the Twelve Apostles in Port Campbell, Australia. They are beginning to move roads as sea level is rising "inches" and is washing away the land beneath them.

2.5micrometer
"The world merchant fleet stood at 895.8 million deadweight tons (dwt) as on January 1,2005"
This means that they raise the oceans levels by approximately 895.8million m^3
The area of the words oceans is approximately 3.6*10^14m^2.
895.8*10^6/(3.6*10^14)= 2.5*10^-6m=2.5micrometer.
Not very exact, but still, it gives you an idea of how much.

not as much as the cost of travel would raise.bearing in mind that flight operators would then have a monopoly on international travel.
