How do I start a yacht club?

Legally, of course. In Massachusetts? Thanks.
Also, I heard that if you are a member of one club, you may use the facilities at another (e.g. dining). Is this true?

My advice would be , take a look around some yacht clubs in your area and see what you can find out , of course WITHOUT advertising the fact that you want to start your own…
You will be amazed at what people will tell you, especially if they don’t see you as a threat (in the business sense)…
Sorry couldn’t be of more help but, seriously, do your research first and don’t just rely on answers from here…

I am a member of San Diego Yacht Club. Don’t try and start your own. Explore others and pick the nicest fanciest one. Go SAILING!
