Most of the charter boats I’ve been on are outta’ Monterey ie., Randy’s and Chris’s Fishing Services on Fisherman’s Wharf (bout’ 45 miles from Santa Cruz), as for Santa Cruz itself, only one I went with was Stagnaros (link). Site will give ya’ a run down on schedules, species of fish for what time of the year, rates etc. Their services includes Sand Dabs. They were pretty good, on seperate trips (different seasons) we limited out on both Salmon and Cod (all species). Hope it helps a bit

striper are good now, but sturgeon are hot in here…california is the no.1 fishing place in state…..
about charter boat u can surf online to find out the price…but talk about the fish in northern california i am sure u will LOVE it
