If not, most likely you can not even hire a yacht. Even when you can, a small yacht is not capable of sailing across the ocean. There are a lot of yachts being shipwrecked off the south coast of England each year, as inexperienced captains thought they could do it. And on top of that, a week would get you to France, northern France at that, and back. No way near Spain. If you want to have a sea adventure, go to one of the places where yachts are rented out with a crew and rent one of those, in Greece there are many, but I am sure there are more. The sea is no bathtub, every small craft is in danger without experienced crew, and in bad weather even with experienced crew. First of all, does any of you have experience?
