I have a 48ft ocean yacht that has been for sale for 2-3 years now…and i havent even gotten a realistic offer yet! My broker has had numerous amounts of people looking at it, but no one will buy it! Its in nearly perfect condition…but its 11years old, but still practically mint condition. Its a very different and more "classy" model of the ocean yachts…and we are asking much less than the origional price we bought it for…what gives?

How do they get adjusted to Living in the sea, rather then land?
I could understand sailing for a couple hours, but not spending my life on it….

We’ve been offered a load of this yacht for the day in France which would be amazing but we’re a bit terrified that it’ll cost a fortune in diesel to take it out for the afternoon. We’ve heard horror stories of thousands of Euros! Wondering if anyone knows how much it’ll be?

apparently where we live there are a community of swingers – i`m wondering if that is why there are so many yachts in peoples windows – is this a sign of swinging couples????

Do you think they will have to sell their hotels, mansions, airplanes, helicopters, yachts and gold to survive these difficult times? I almost feel sorry for the poor ones.

never sailed before apart from rubber ducks in the bath..but £40k seems to get a nice boat that could be lived in when at port..any info on how to begin such a pipe dream

My husband has just brought a small 23ft yacht and it needs to have a revamp inside and out,the boat has been out of the water for just over a year and the survey said it was in very good condition, the hull needs to have "anti-foul" put on before it goes back into the water, (it is GRP construction). What is the best way to do this and what preparation do we need to do?
